Athlete Construction is committed to building athletes for superior sport performance and reduced injury risk through education and sport-specific training.

Philosophy:
Athlete Construction's systematic approach builds more effective and more efficient athletes. Training develops foundational movement skills and movement patterns, and improves strength, speed, stamina and flexibility. We develop sport-specific training programs on CD-Rom and offer training camps and clinics at locations across North America for coaches and athletes.

Athlete Construction training programs prepare you to compete at a higher level. Sport-specific training is the key to elevating your game! Increase speed, quickness, strength, and stamina through effective multidimensional training. Our programs are available on CD-Rom making them easy to follow. Programs include an extensive introduction explaining the specific demands of your sport, a comprehensive evaluation plan (to be complete before starting the program and at 6-week intervals), 18 weeks of detailed workouts, audio and video explanations for each exercise and a performance nutrition section to help you optimize progress.

Athlete Construction programs can be performed anywhere, anytime with minimal equipment. Our programs require 4 simple pieces of equipment- a medicine ball, a Swiss ball, a resistance cord and an ankle band (hockey program only).
Athlete Construction Hockey
Hockey is an intensely demanding game. Preparing to play safely and effectively requires committed effort on and off the ice. Off-ice training is imperative for the serious hockey player and should address: mobility, core strength, work capacity, speed, agility, quickness, stamina and flexibility.

Athlete Construction Hockey is a comprehensive program ideal for off-season training. The program can also be adapted for year-round training. Become the player you want to be- train off-ice for on-ice success!

Coaches interested in integrating off-ice training in to their teams' development can learn hundreds of hockey-specific exercises and drills perfect for warm-ups and workouts.
